The foods that every restaurant is using to prepare for their customers should be well kept. In order to prevent the goods from spoiling, a general refrigerated transport can’t get away. Transfer of goods and the maintenance to keep its good quality has been made easy with refrigerated containers like car, ship or truck. The role it is playing is vital in the global trade, for the world to enjoy fresh produce vegetables and fruits. Now what are the kinds of refrigeration that are being widely used today, the container that secures the food to frozen and keeps it fresh?

The very simple form of general refrigerated transport involves a cooler or a case with ice packs or loses ice. The ice helps in keeping the temperature cold during the travel time or depending upon the hours or days. This is usually for small quantity of goods, like for picnic.

Refrigerators are the simplest. Mobile refrigerators were created and even a mini fridge. Mostly used for caravans or buses in long trips and travel. For the same reason, it keeps the foods frozen, fresh and not to ripen quickly.

Freezers fall under domestic refrigeration and also one of the simplest. These are typically known to homeowners and keep the food cold. On the other hand, just like refrigerators, it is brought by buses and caravans for a long trip.

On a large scale, a vehicle is required or what is called reefer. Refrigerated car, truck, train car or cargo can hold huge compressors and refrigeration equipments to keep the cooling temperature and can be adjusted to house specific products. This can be costly, for it also needs a lot of fuel. Plus, it takes a lot of energy to keep the container cool during the travel. The shipping company would also need to follow special precautions for the safety of the shipment. During hot weather, they are not usually travelling because the system might fail with the high temperature. 

These are only few of the equipments that are widely used today for general refrigerated transport of goods and other stuffs. The medical industry has also benefit with these equipments, keeping their supplies and medications cool and stable.

Technology has helped a lot with the evolution of the general refrigerated transport. It is also the development of modern safety of foods at safe temperature while they are shipped until they can arrive to their next destination.
